Sanctuary of a rural priory dependent on the monastery of Rozier, the church St Pierre was built in several campaigns between the years 1180 and 1250. At the primitive bedside, was added a nave of three bays then abutted by two collateral vaulted in half-cradle . Finally a fourth bay completed the building to the west. The traces of these successive enlargements are clearly legible in the walls of the building. Damaged during the 16th century religious wars, the facade, restored around 1630, received a Renaissance style portal. Finally most of the bays were enlarged in the 19th century. The church retains an old baptismal font and a stone table bearing traces of Latin inscriptions that could be the old altar. (Text by Philippe Chambon)
