ISPAGNAC - ISPAGNAC

Ispagnac, between Cévennes and Gorges du Tarn, is located in a valley nicknamed 'Lozère's garden'. This valley with fruit trees and sunney slopes is the meeting area of the three major types of stone in Lozère (limestone, schist, granite).

Man has, since the Iron Age, worked these stones, leaving us a heritage that has crossed centuries. Indeed, in the small valley of Ispagnac, menhirs on the heights of the village, stand alongside the church Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul, with a Romanesque architecture from the 12th century, located in the old part of the town. And of course, in this village flows the enchanted river, the Tarn.
