Mostly known for the "Grallator" dinosaur footprints of its small name, the houses of the village are aligned on a rocky outcrop and dominate the Tarnon Valley. The mansions stood between the castle and the church. This one was on the "Castellas" at the location of the footprints. Mentioned at the beginning of the 12th century, he was attached to the barony of Florac. It was destroyed in the 17th century. Elements of the building were recovered and recycled in houses. Here and there in the village, there are signs proving that there was indeed a castle: a lintel bears the coat of arms of the castle. Since the "Castellas" in addition to footprints, there is also a magnificent panorama of the Tarnon Valley and Causse Mejean. Several panels give information on the site.
