The village of Les Bondons dominated by the famous "puechs" and menhirs of the Bondons' house deserves a visit for the architecture of its houses. The facades mark the meeting of the geological formations of the landscape where sandstone and limestone dominate. In the center of the village to discover also the St-Saturnin church of the Bondons. Possession of the cathedral chapter of Mende from the 12th century, this modest church has retained its Romanesque structure. A nave of two spans, vaulted semicircular cradle opens on a semicircular apse, whose vault, lower is underlined by a bandeau. Outside, the façade has retained a Romanesque window. The bedside has a beautiful volume carefully paired. A square steeple with twin bays served by a turret staircase dominates the building. (Text by Philippe Chambon) Nearby on the Champ des Bondons: the walk in the land of Menhirs (5km)
