LE TAC : TRAIN DE L'ANDORGE EN CÉVENNES - SAINT-JULIEN-DES-POINTS

The TAC, train of the Andorge in Cevennes takes part of the former departmental railway connecting Florac to Saint-Cécile-d'Andorge, by the sinuous valleys Cévenoles. On board a small tourist train put into service by passionate volunteers, we find the bucolic atmosphere of old-world travels through viaducts and tunnels. The round trip (2x1450m) allows to discover, besides the landscape, several structures such as the viaduct on the Andorge (viaduct with 4 arches elliptic 25 m high) and the tunnel of Bramefont (length 82 m), which reflect the work done 100 years ago during the construction of the CFD ... The gauge of the track is 400 mm, this train can carry 60 passengers. Departure & arrival is at Ste Cécile d'Andorge station.
