LES GORGES DE LA JONTE - MEYRUEIS

Less famous and shorter than the Tarn Gorges, the Jonte Gorges are no less beautiful.
The River Jonte flows through a deep canyon for 21 kilometers, starting in Meyrueis and reaching Le Rozier, where it meets the Tarn Gorges.

By car, to enjoy the best panoramic views of the Jonte Gorges, it’s recommended to drive downstream from Meyrueis. As you descend, the canyon becomes increasingly impressive and spectacular, especially as you approach the confluence with the Tarn.
