“The Combe des Cades site covers an area of 300 hectares, offering magnificent and varied landscapes.
Meadows and heathlands crossed by streams, granite rock formations, and pine forests give it a character that is both rugged and welcoming.”

This area lies at the junction between limestone and crystalline massifs. Its main ecological value lies in the presence of calcareous marshes, which are extremely rare in the region.
The calcareous marsh, remarkable for its botanical richness, has formed on a flat zone where granite, sandstone, and limestone meet.
