This path allows you to discover a valley away from the main traffic routes, very evocative of the particular atmosphere of the high Cévennes valleys on the Mediterranean side. From the mill to the group of houses halfway up the slope, the path climbs in the shade of holm oaks and chestnut trees, in the coolness of the valley. This walk is an opportunity to understand how the Cévennes people have managed and developed this environment. From the art of building to the hydraulic installations, all the components of the traditional organisation of the space are evoked in a site of preserved character.

Useful tips
In summer, the trail is best done in the morning. Slippery passages in wet weather. The route you are about to follow passes through several private properties. Do not stray from the marked route. Its provision is at your discretion. Horse riding and mountain biking are not permitted or suitable on the interpretation trails. Some details: From the car park, take the road for 300 m to find the first marker. After marker 2, leave the road to the left along the path (narrow, can be slippery after rain). Between markers 15 and 16, narrow path. After marker 18, return along the road to the car park.
