In the 16th century, during the wars of religion, the church was burned by Protestants and eleven priests were murdered. It is a Romanesque church with a trefoil plan, shaded by a Sully lime tree. It seems to date back to the middle of the 12th century. The apse and the two chapels form a trefoil. The north chapel was originally semi-circular, not square. The choir stretches in width, a dome surmounts it, undoubtedly once crowned by a bell tower. Later, a bell tower was erected on the facade and the dome was topped with a gable roof. The three Romanesque windows of the apse have rich columns on the outside.
