It is one of the most beautiful villages of France thanks to its medieval aspect and adjustment to the Gorges that surround it, Sainte-Enimie is full of old paved streets and vaulted passages, with large stairs and nice terraces scattered around that generously participate to its charm.

From its former monastery you can see the refectory, the nice Romanesque chapter house. The Romanesque church Notre-Dame-du-Gourg, from the 14th century, was subject to some transformations. Admire the nice vault of its apse and the Saint Anne statue, near modern ceramics illustrating the story of the town's foundation. The old town has kept a 'Halle au Blé' (Wheats Exchange) and a grain measure tool.

On the banks of the Tarn, you can swim or rent canoe-kayaks for a descent in the Gorges. We also have bus tours and trips available.
